bulletThe Spruce Street Community Development Corporation (SSCDC), Nashville, Tennessee, was founded in 2000 as an organization to meet the growing demands for social services and economic development in the Nashville area. A nonprofit corporation governed by a twelve member Board of Directors and financially supported by donations, the SSCDC has been successful in both its economic development and social service endeavors. Nearly $4 million in grants and over $800,000 from various sources have been received and utilized primarily for the development of the Spruce Street Golden Manor and the Spruce Street House of Hope. Both facilities are available to support other programs and services of the SSCDC.

Our partners are appreciated for their continuing support of the increased social services available through the Center for Family Life: summer programs for youth, and back-to-school programs for parents, students and teachers. We are truly fortunate to have strong and supportive donors who are instrumental in helping us to fulfill our mission. Please take the time to share our success with others because you too, are a resource as we expand our mission!
